💜 A Valentine’s Quest Down Under 💜

In the magical land of Furdrobe, the Fairy Dogmother sighed. She had asked her fairies to gather violet roses from every part of the realm. But when she looked upon them, well… they were all lovely, but not quite right. None of them held the deep, ancient magic of love that she needed to bring true enchantment to her Valentine’s collection. And so she knew; this was a task her fairies alone could not complete. She needed her friends Angus and Layla.

With a shimmer of magic, she whispered her requests and sent them over the sea, all the way to Australia, where Angus and Layla lived. At that very moment, they were out on on a boat with their parents
on the Brisbane River, sunglasses on and captain’s hats firmly in place. When they heard what the Fairy Dogmother needed, they knew at once: she was searching for the magical violet roses, flowers that could only be found deep within the Daintree Rainforest. Without hesitation, the pair set off together on an adventure.

The Rainforest was ancient and alive with magic. Mist drifted between towering trees, and crystals sparkled beneath tangled roots and beside softly flowing streams. They searched and searched for the violet roses, but none were to be found.

Just as hope began to fade, Angus and Layla caught the scent of rain-damp leaves and warm blossoms, and a Rainforest Fairy appeared before them. They asked where the roses could be found, she explained that they had not bloomed for several years. She had planted crystal seeds from the flowers in their usual places, hoping they would grow, but alas, the magic had never taken root.

She led Angus and Layla to a quiet glade, bright yet sheltered beneath the canopy of the majestic kauri trees, and showed them where the crystal seeds lay hidden in the earth. Overcome with sadness, she began to weep, her tears falling softly into the soil. The dogs stepped forward to comfort her, and as they did, the cool river spray that had clung to their fur from the boat started to fall and dampened the ground, mixing with the fairy’s tears. Then, slowly… the seeds began to sprout and the violet roses bloomed once more. The fairy was delighted and danced in the air around the glade, scattering the remaining crystal seeds, and by magic, the flowers appeared throughout the Rainforest.

When Angus and Layla delivered the violet roses to the Fairy Dogmother, she knew at first glance that these were the flowers she had been waiting for. From them, she created beautiful violet accessories, each one infused with love and wonder. Grateful to Angus and Layla for their quest in helping her, she placed a silk Violet Rose with the bow with the finest crystals gently around each of their necks.

And with that, the Fairy Dogmother declared that the collection would be named Violet Rose - Valentine’s treasures from the heart of Australia, ready to be shared with the world.
