In the enchanted land of Furdrobe, the Fairy Dogmother was busy preparing her brand new Silver Screen collection, inspired by the true glamour of Hollywood. But, to create it, she needed something from the past - a touch of magic from the most glamorous 1930s film awards ceremony.
And she knew the perfect doggies to help.
In the city of Rotterdam lived two small, beautiful chihuahuas with very big personalities, Yoshi and Yumi. As they were dear friends of the Fairy Dogmother, they did not hesitate to make their way to Furdrobe the moment she called upon them.
When she explained what she needed, they were delighted to help.
Around their necks she fastened enormous sparkling bows, each adorned with a magnificent crystal destined to gather the very light of that glittering age.
With a graceful wave of her wand, the Fairy Dogmother sent them back to the Golden Age of Cinema - a time when silver screens glowed brighter than the moon and dreams flickered to life. Though the era was named for gold, she knew its true magic lay in silver, for it was the silver screen that allowed the stars of the age to shine.
And just like that, Yoshi and Yumi found themselves upon the red carpet of the most prestigious awards ceremony of that time, surrounded by actors in glittering gowns and elegant tuxedos. Photographers lined the entrance behind velvet ropes, their flashbulbs flickered, bathing the film stars in a glorious silver light.
Unbeknown to the crowd, with each brilliant flash, the great crystals at the centre of their bows quietly captured the magic of every click, and within them a luminous silver hue began to form - more enchanting than any ever seen before.
Never one to spoil a celebration, the Fairy Dogmother waited until the chihuahuas had danced their final dance before she whisked them back to Furdrobe.
There, she removed the bows from their necks and tapped the crystals softly with her wand. At once, they shattered, and released a silky veil of silver mist that filled the room and settled delicately upon the waiting collection.
From that moment on, the Silver Screen collection carried the glamour of a bygone era, captured not from gold, but from radiant silver light.
For their grace beneath the spotlight, and for carrying the magic of cinema through time itself, the Fairy Dogmother gifted Yoshi and Yumi a silver bow each, a keepsake of their glittering night, and a reminder that wherever they go, they walk as though upon a red carpet.
Furdrobe, because every pet deserves to sparkle.
