All over the world humans just love their pets (quite right too!), and there’s no shortage of folks who will spend bucket loads on their furry friends (or not so furry if they have a sphinx cat or a Chinese crested dog). 1. The $4.2 million dog tiara.
Yes. You read that right. $4.2 million! This pampered pooch, a maltese terrier called Kanune is the proud owner of an emerald tiara with 250 carats worth of emeralds and diamonds embedded in a titanium crown. The designer, Riwin Jirapolsek created this piece for his dog and was displayed at a dog show in Bangkok.

2. The £40,000 dog dress.
No list of expensive pet items would be complete without Furdrobe’s £40,000 dog dress. Inspired by her love of white peacocks, creative director of Furdrobe, Rachelle Fawcett created this gown in 900 hours and it includes over 40,000 hand applied finest European crystals on James Hare fabric. This luxurious dog bed boasts 7600 crystal beads and a pink pillow with a big face of Hello Kitty. This bed was specifically designed for a special sales event in Tokyo, but we hear on the grapevine it is possible to get one commissioned!
4. The $12,000 Couture Paisley Armoire for dogs.
