Most people don't know this, but in every country on Earth, there is a fairy realm that holds the spirit and magic of its people. These hidden kingdoms shine with pride, tradition, and joy, and none more so than the magical American Fairy Realm.
In the heart of this land, the Cuff Fairy was preparing for the Independence Day celebrations. The realm bustled with excitement. Fairies were frosting star-spangled cakes, tuned their trumpets, and captured sparkles in jars as decorations. But as the Cuff Fairy stepped onto her balcony to admire the preparations, she saw that the flag above the fairytale castle, usually vivid red, white and blue, had started to fade and was slipping into grey. The music stopped. The flowers closed. The sparkle disappeared from the air.
She knew there was one magical being that might still help restore hope and sparkle to the USA. So she sent her two charming French bulldogs Saint and Gucci to the Fairy Dogmother in the magical land of Furdrobe.
Troubled by the message, the Fairy Dogmother knew the colours of the flag had not vanished. They had simply fallen asleep beneath layers of doubt. She entrusted Saint and Gucci with one task; to help her Make America Sparkle Again!
As soon as their journey began they were greeted by the Red Fairy. They were greeted first by the Red Fairy of Bravery, who led them to the Grand Canyon. There, Saint stood steady and whispered, "Bravery is showing up, even when you're scared." The canyon echoed back his truth, and the red returned to the flag.
Then came the White Fairy of Hope, who guided them high into the clouds. Gucci, when she was amongst the clouds said: "I want the souls to sparkle again, especially the quiet ones who think they don’t matter." The clouds stirred gently, and the white shimmered softly back into the flag.
Back on the ground, they searched for the Blue Fairy of Freedom, but she was nowhere to be found - until the rain came and a figure appeared, dancing wildly without shame. Saint and Gucci joined her, spinning in circles, splashing in puddles, laughing freely. As they did, the blue returned to the flag, and the task was complete.
As they made their way to the castle, the red, white and blue flowers reopened, proudly showing off their crystal centres. They gathered the crystals to take back to the Furdrobe Fairy Dogmother.
The Cuff Fairy, overjoyed, presented Saint and Gucci with gifts of sparkly cuffs. Infused with a vivid bouquet of the red, white, and blue.
Upon their return to Furdrobe they presented all the red white and blue crystals to the Fairy Dogmother. She was delighted to discover about their adventures in America and how they had helped restore the colours. Immediately she got to work making the USA flag bows. When she was done, she fastened two of the finest bows onto Saint and Gucci’s collars.
As she gazed upon the collection, and exclaimed these will be perfect for Independence Day. This is a very special collection not just of colours and sparkles, but of Bravery, Hope and Freedom, and the magic that returns when people’s hearts remember who they truly are.
