I was thrilled to be asked to be part of Channel 4’s TV show ‘World’s Most Expensive Presents’ with my Peacock Ball Gown, also known as the world’s most expensive dog dress!
It was a nerve wracking experience at first but I was instantly put at ease by the friendly Channel 4 TV crew. It turned out to be great fun and we were lucky enough to also have our lovely clients Celine and Monsieur LouLou, photographer Alex Bamford, Molly the dog model and her owner/PA Laura on the show too.

The first day of filming consisted of showing off our dog dress and accessories range with Monsieur LouLou and his owner Celine, who has now become famous in the local area with her catchphrase caught on camera: ‘it’s gooooorgeous!’. I also was able to put the finishing touches to some dog accessories in front of the camera, it is such an engrossing job I completely forgot the film crew were there.

I was so excited about the second day of filming because the film crew would be capturing the Peacock Ball Gown photo shoot with photographer Alex Bamford. It was the first time that I had seen the finished dress on Molly. It’s always great having Molly around, she is the most sassy, professional model who is full of character who just seems to naturally know how to pose for the camera. She loves wearing the clothes and dressing up and certainly loves all the fuss and attention.

It was amazing to see the dress on Molly for the first time, she looked absolutely stunning and complimented the dress beautifully. I felt so proud on that photo shoot, the dress looked outstanding, I really felt that my hard work creating this dress had really paid off and I could finally say to myself that it was complete and that it was 900 hours of hard work well spent.

Filming for the World's Most Expensive Presents was my first experience of TV, and I am so glad it had been a good one. Regardless, it was still a relief when it was over and I was able to enjoy a glass of wine with my husband Chris and chat about the filming with my friends over a well deserved Chinese meal. I look forward to my next adventure in front of the cameras!
